  • General English

    From 16 years From 10 to 15 students per class Length of course minimum 1 week Length of lesson 45 minutes For all language levels
    Each week, you will spend 12 of your 20 lessons studying Integrated Skills, developing your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through interactive and varied activities. For the other eight lessons, you will study Targeted Skills. These will focus on developing each of the ‘four skills’ of language: speaking, listening, reading and writing. This is your opportunity to work on your skills to maximise your progress towards mastery of English.
    You can also choose to extend and intensify your 20 lessons by adding 10 more lessons per week.
  • English for work

    From 16 years From 10 to 15 students per class Length of course maximum 10 weeks Length of lesson 45 minutes For pre-intermediate - advanced
    For those who want to compete successfully in today’s global workplace, this intensive course develops the fluency, accuracy and the specific communication skills you need to advance confidently in your chosen career.

    You will develop your language skills within such areas as:

    Negotiating contracts
    Management and HR
    Branding and promotional strategies
    Project management
    Company budgets
    Business ethics and CSR


    This course is suitable for students who:
    want to embark on a career in an international environment
    require English language skills in their current job
    are changing career and want to boost their CV
    need to sharpen their workplace skills to get the job of their dreams.

    You would have 20 lessons of General English + 10 lessons of English for work per week.
  • English in the city

    From 16 years From 12 to 15 students per class Length of course maximum 5 weeks Length of lesson 45 minutes For all language levels
    Experience local dialects, history and famous sights while improving your English. This class is for students who want to learn more about their host city.

    Experience your destination with 10 lessons per week focused on language study inspired by your chosen city.

    You will spend one lesson each week outside of the classroom with your class, visiting places of interest and engaging in activities in the local area.

    Classroom study will also support themes that change weekly, including ‘Describing Art and Culture – Museum Tours’, ‘Talk like a Local – Neighbourhood Visits’ and ‘The Language of Sports – Stadium Visits’.
  • Cambridge Exam Preparation

  • IELTS Preparation

    An IELTS score can be used for entry to most universities in the UK, Canada, Australia and Malta and some universities in the US. It is often required by professional bodies, and it's one of the tests recognised for immigration purposes.

    You may choose between 20 and 30 lessons per week.

    Any student will find that living in homestay accommodation is the best way to practise English outside the classroom. You will be treated as a close friend of the family, couple or individual that you are staying with and will have your own freedom while being respectful to the family’s rules and expectations.

    There may also be up to three other students in the family but they will speak a different native language from yourself. Housing very much varies here in Bristol. You may be placed in a house (semi-detached/terrace and detached) or a bungalow or a flat/apartment.

    Families in Bristol are of many different nationalities and backgrounds, but the main language spoken in the house will be English.

    All our host families are carefully selected and each inspected at least once a year.

    Student Residence

    Print Hall has everything that you need as a student staying in Bristol. This residence facilities include internet in every room, open plan communal areas as well as a private gym and secure cycle parking, allowing you to remain fit and healthy during your stay. Your room will have a double bed, under bed storage and wardrobe. You will have a study space with drawers and desk chair. Each room has its own ensuite shower room. Print Hall residence has a separate shared kitchen and living area with sofas, table and chairs, large fridge freezers, oven, hob, microwaves, cooker, toasters, kettle, hoover, iron and ironing board.

    Built in an old cathedral, the brand new Liberty Park residence is full of character. It’s bright and spacious with rooms and common areas finished to a high standard. Rooms include all the luxuries a student could want, from comfy double beds, en-suite shower rooms and plasma TVs to contemporary fitted kitchens. The premises boasts a range of modern facilities including a DVD cinema room, gym, laundry, study room, bicycle store room, and 24 hour security and reception.
