We have adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection and security of the personal information of users of our website.
The collection of personal data is carried out through the online forms on the company’s website and is stored electronically to provide the company’s services. The purpose of collecting and processing personal data is to establish and maintain business relationships with users, provide necessary information, offer consultations, register service requests, and perform other operations related to the company’s activities.
The personal data provided by users are retained for the entire duration of the business relationship and additionally for the periods prescribed by applicable law.
The processing of personal data is based on your request for information and/or the ordering of services from EDUMAPPLE DOO NOVI SAD, the terms of which you can review before placing an order, or based on your explicit consent to this Privacy Policy via the feedback forms on our website.
Below we describe in detail the conditions and procedures for processing your personal data.
1. How we process your data
1.1 We place the utmost importance on protecting your personal data. We do not transfer your information to third parties, except for service providers necessary to fulfill your booking and ensure service quality. In such cases, you grant us the right to share only the minimum amount of data required to confirm your booking and properly execute the contract.
1.2 You provide the following personal data when completing online forms on our website or by telephone:
- Surname, first name and patronymic, passport number, nationality, date of birth, postal address, telephone number (and emergency contact if necessary), email address. These details are required to register you with the chosen language school and provide consultation support.
- Language proficiency level. Schools request this information to confirm availability for specific course start dates.
- Bank account details. If you choose to pay the prepayment by direct debit, we retain these details until funds are successfully debited.
- Credit/debit card details. When paying by card, information is stored in encrypted form by our payment provider, and we never see your full card details. Data is retained only until payment is guaranteed.
- We do not request information about gender (except “Mr.” or “Ms.” if you specify it), religion, ethnicity, or other affiliations.
1.3 We may periodically send you news and special offers via email. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the opt-out link at the bottom of the email.
1.4 If you choose to rate our service or products, your rating—along with your age, country of residence, first name, and initial—will be visible to other site visitors unless you choose to publish your review anonymously.
1.5 Upon completion of all contractual obligations, your personal data will be automatically deleted after the retention periods required by current tax and commercial legislation have expired.
2. Data sharing with third parties
Schools:
The personal data you provide is shared with your chosen language school (which may be outside the EU). Your payment details (card or bank account data) are not shared with the school.
Payment providers:
We do not store payment information in our systems when you pay by credit or debit card, via PayPal, or other payment services. Details on payment methods are provided separately. In these cases, you enter your data directly on the payment provider’s website. We never see your full card details—the provider stores them and issues us only a “token” (identifier) tied to your payment details.
Third-party hosting:
Our web server is hosted by a third-party provider, ensuring fast and secure site performance. All data collected while using the site or via online forms is processed on this server. The hosting provider is located within the EU. It has no root access and therefore cannot view personal data stored on our server. However, the provider maintains server logs (IP addresses, request date/time, requested file names) for up to 7 days to ensure system security. We then transfer log copies to our server, where they are stored for up to 12 months solely to comply with PCI requirements and assist in investigating any attacks on the web server.
In all described cases, we limit the amount of information shared with third parties to the minimum necessary.
3. Use of cookies
Our website uses cookies to enhance usability, analyze user behavior, and provide personalized services. You can disable or restrict cookies in your browser settings.
4. Analytics
We use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica) to study user behavior and improve our services. These services collect anonymous data about your site usage and do not directly identify you.
5. Remarketing advertising
Our site may use remarketing tools such as Google Ads or Facebook Pixel to show you relevant ads after you visit our site. You can disable remarketing in your ad preference settings on the respective platforms.
6. Social media plugins
The site may use social media plugins (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to allow easy content sharing with friends. These plugins may collect data about your interaction with them. The protection of this data is governed by the privacy policies of the respective social networks.
7. Sending evaluation reminders by email
After completing language courses, you may receive an email from us requesting feedback on the course. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in the email.
