AM Language, Malta
AM Language's Director of Studies and Assistant Director of Studies lead a team of passionate and committed educators who make up the Academic Department.
Our instructors come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including teaching, business, law, and the arts, and they each bring their own unique perspective and life experiences to the classroom. All of our educators are well-trained professionals who work hard to help their students succeed by designing and delivering lessons that are both stimulating and fun, with a primary focus on strengthening students' verbal and written communication skills.
Teachers at AM Language are all native English speakers and hold a license from the Ministry of Education to instruct non-native speakers of English. They are exceptionally qualified, holding certificates and diplomas such as CerTESOL/CELTA, DipTESOL/DELTA, etc.
Students studying English in AM language come from many different countries and cultures. They come to the island for a variety of reasons: some to improve their English language skills, some to prepare for international exams, and some simply to experience a new culture and way of life.
The majority of students are young people between the ages of 12 and 30, but there are also older students who come to Malta for a quality education. Regardless of age and learning objective, all students find in Malta a friendly atmosphere, professional teachers and a variety of opportunities to learn English.
- EFL: The EFL Monitoring Board, a part of the Malta Ministry of Education, aims to stimulate, promote and safeguard the EFL profession and encourage proficient use of the English Language on a national basis. AM Language Studio is licensed by the ELT Council and all teachers are also individually licenced based on qualifications, experience and continuous professional development.
- FELTOM: As a founding member of FELTOM, AM Language Studio strives to maintain and improve standards for the benefit of students visiting the school. Being a FELTOM- accredited English language school means that the school has successfully passed a rigorous and stringent accreditation process and been awarded a seal of quality.

- Bildungsurlaub: In Germany, Bildungsurlaub (vacation leave) is paid company leave granted to German nationals wishing to further their eduction in Bildungsurlaub accepted courses. AM Language Studio is qualified under the Bildungsurlaub scheme to provide a variety of courses to people wishing to further their knowledge of the English language.
- Toles: The TOLES examinations were developed to meet the demand from law firms, companies, legal institutions, lawyers and law students for an accurate method of assessing an individual’s proficiency of legal English. AM Language Studio is licensed to provide quality examination courses for students wishing to take the TOLES examination.
