EC has highly qualified English teachers who are experienced and knowledgeable in their field. They use a variety of teaching methods to help students achieve their language learning goals. English teachers are also actively involved in the life of the school, helping to organize activities and supporting their students.
After 30 years in the field, we've refined our teaching methods to provide interesting, up-to-date content in an approachable, welcoming way. Get to know other international students while you study the language's ins and outs through stimulating discussion.
The students at EC school are talented and motivated students who strive to continuously improve their language skills. They are active in class, participate in discussions and help their fellow students.
Students under 18 must:
- Book return airport transfers (if arriving and departing between 8pm - 8am)
- Provide a parental consent form
- Stay with authorized guardian or book single room*, halfboard homestay for the duration of their course (*You can book a twin room if two students travelling together are of the same gender)

General English - 20 lessons per week
Your Boston General English course will allow you to learn at your own speed, allowing you to reach your full potential. You will make rapid and significant progress in all four areas of English proficiency, from beginner to advanced, whether you are taking this course.

General English - 24 lessons per week
Your Boston General English course will allow you to learn at your own speed, allowing you to reach your full potential. You will make rapid and significant progress in all four areas of English proficiency, from beginner to advanced, whether you are taking this course.
Boston is a fantastic place to study general English if you want to widen your horizons and acquire the self-assurance you'll need for any endeavor.
Here you can select four lessons every week from a variety of Special Focus options (for example Speaking With Confidence, Global Awareness, Grammar for Real Communication, Real Life Listening, English for Leadership, etc). This number strikes a nice mix between required and optional study time throughout your stay.
General English - 26 lessons per week

Include 6 sessions of Special Focus and 20 lessons of General English in your weekly schedule. This academic plan is more demanding and leaves less time for extracurriculars than standart 20 lessons per week.
Intensive General English - 30 lessons per week

With this intensive option, you can tailor your course to your needs by enrolling in 10 weekly Special Focus courses. Students looking to make rapid progress will benefit from this option.
Individual General English - 10 lessons per week
To optimize your success in the General English course, including one-on-one sessions. These one-on-one lessons are tailored by your professors to meet your needs and are entirely focused on your requirements.
English for Work - 24 lessons per week
Take an English for Work course at EC Boston and you'll be ready to take on opportunities in all parts of the globe. The highly specialised teaching we offer will enable you to communicate in all situations, confident when interacting with colleagues and able to use the English language to achieve highly specific aims.
As well as improving your English, you’ll develop many other workplace skills. The ability to solve problems, prepare for meetings and argue for your point of view will prove invaluable as your career advances.
Course includes per week - 20 General English lessons and 4 English for Work.

Living like a local is an amazing and fulfilling experience. You can learn the most about the daily routine of an American family from their hosts. You may improve your communication skills, learn new words and phrases more quickly, and utilize them in everyday life through this engagement. Every one of our hosts is fluent in English and eager to teach you about the rich history and unique culture of Boston! A home can be a single-family house, an apartment, or a multi-family building. Every room comes with its own bed, desk, closet, and trash can. Additionally, there is a shared bathroom available to you.

Christmas Supplement (weekend of 21/22 and 28/29 Dec) - 40 USD per week.

One-room accommodations are an option for students.

As standard equipment, each room has a bed, desk, closet, and trash can. There is a shared bathroom that you can use as well.
Twin rooms are available to students. For twin room students, they may be matched with a foreign student or a friend.

International Guest House (single room, half board)
Located in Back Bay, a highly prestigious neighborhood of Boston Proper, International Guest House was founded in 1985. This former single-family house is now one of the best places to stay in Boston.
