At the GLS German Language School in Berlin, all of the instructors hold university degrees and regularly participate in additional training to become qualified German as a Foreign Language teachers (GLS is an IH-accredited Teacher Training Center). They are not only skilled German instructors, but they are also engaging individuals.
The GLS German Language School in Berlin, Germany, teaches German to about 5,000 students aged 18 to 80 each year. There are typically 250–400 students a month, with up to 600 during the summer.

Professionals or college students make up the majority of GLS students. They have chosen Berlin as their study destination and are pursuing a profession in German. Many of them enroll in long-term courses that last eight to twelve weeks, but professionals prefer to take intensive courses that last two to four weeks.

Courses
Intensive German - 20 lessons per week
General German is taught in this intense 4-lesson-per-day German course. Every day, you will study German with a group of students from around the world, and you can be sure that your proficiency will grow rapidly.

Super Intensive German - 30 lessons per week
This super-intensive German course adds two further classes in the afternoon, in small groups of five to eight students each, to the morning's intense course. If you want to work on your German in a more private environment after lunch, this course is great for you.

Intensive + One-to-One German (Crash) - 30 lessons per week
This very intensive German course combines a group course with individual lessons: 6 German lessons per day = 4 in an international group and two alone with a teacher who focuses entirely on you and your needs.

Individual German - 10 lessons per week
Private German classes are ideal if you want to learn German fast: with a private course you have your teacher's undivided attention!

Business German - 30 lessons per week
Business German is a formal style of German that is spoken in workplaces and professional contexts. Our courses train the language skills needed in any professional situation, but they also impart knowledge of German business culture and etiquette.

Exam Preparation (Telc, Goethe) - 30 lessons per week
GLS German Language School offers preparation courses for various exams like Telc and Goethe. These courses involve group work to help students learn collaboratively and effectively. Additionally, you can contact a Lingocourse manager to customize your study plan, including the number of study hours and the size of the group. This flexibility ensures that you receive tailored support to achieve your language learning goals.

Host family (single room, self catering)

Staying with Berliners while in Berlin is perfect if you want to practice your German after class.
Both married and unmarried couples, as well as single people with or without children, may be your hosts. They can be professors, cab drivers, students, or people from all walks of life. Numerous hosts have been housing our students for a number of years, and all have undergone inspection.
Host family (single room, breakfast)

You will have many opportunity to practice and use your German right away if you live in an apartment with Berliners.
Your hosts could be individuals, couples (married or not), or families (with or without children). People from many walks of life and ages can be seen, including students, cab drivers, and professors. Each host has passed our inspection process, and many of them have been taking in our students for years.
Host family (single room, half board)

GLS German Language School offers accommodation in single rooms with host families. This arrangement includes half board meals, providing breakfast and dinner each day. Host families ensure a warm and welcoming environment for students. Living with a local family also enhances the language learning experience and cultural immersion.
