Courses
General English - 15 lessons per week
Students who enroll in and complete a General English Course report higher levels of competence and self-assurance in all four areas of language acquisition: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Intensive English - 21 lessons per week
The curriculum for students enrolled in the intensive English course is identical to that of the general English course, with the addition of a 6-hour negotiated syllabus. Here, the goal is to address each student's unique needs while completing any knowledge and skill gaps.
General English (combination) - 21 lessons per week
Students who need to enhance their English for job and studies but don't have a lot of time can consider the General Course PLUS.
Older students and those in the professional world will love this class.
This course includes 15 lessons of General English and 6 one-on-one sessions with an teacher.
Intensive English (combination) - 27 lessons per week
The Intensive English Course PLUS follows the same format as the regular Intensive English classes, which run from Monday through Friday. You will also get six hours of private language instruction designed to meet your individual requirements.
Please let school know ahead of time if there are any particular subjects you would like to cover in your one-on-one tutoring session.
Exam preparation (FCE) - 21 lessons per week (4 weeks)
During your stay with Southbourne, you have the opportunity to earn a recognized language credential on a global scale. Taking the Cambridge English Examination Courses is a must if you want to go to college and advance your profession. If you would want to take a certain test, school can help you get ready for it.
For students of all skill levels, Southbourne provide a range of Cambridge English Examination courses. The tests require four weeks of preparation.
Throughout the course, you may expect to learn not only in class, but also through regular assignments, exam counseling, and a practice test. It is important that you take the appropriate test based on your abilities.

Exam preparation (CAE) - 21 lessons per week (4 weeks)

Different levels of Cambridge English Examination Courses are available. Exam preparation takes 4 weeks.
Southbourne will give you homework, exam counseling, and a mock exam in addition to class material. School also make sure you take the proper exam for your ability.

Individual English - 10 lessons per week
A more effective and individualized approach to language learning can be obtained by the learner through one-on-one individualized English language training with a teacher. Quick and meaningful outcomes can be attained since the teacher can more effectively adapt the learning process to each student's unique needs and speed in this session format.
Housing
Host family
