Every one of our instructors is a university graduate with a background in either Chinese literature or language instruction and is a native speaker of the Chinese language.
Additionally, they have fulfilled the requirements of That's Mandarin's Teachers Training Course (TTC) and hold a certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL or TCSOL) from before they started working with us.
For at least five years, they have been successfully instructing non-native speakers of Chinese.

Courses
Intensive Chinese - 20 lessons per week
For students who wish to study more in a short amount of time, the Intensive Chinese Group program is ideal.
- With 20 classes per week, you’ll boost your Chinese skills rapidly
- The program is suitable for learners who want to quickly take their Mandarin to the next level
- Quickly improve your ability to listen, speak and understand Mandarin
- You will be busy with classes, but that’s what intensive study is all about
- Your teachers will help you master real-life Chinese
- After a few classes, you will notice significant improvements
- You will be covering 1 TM Level within 4 weeks
Additional fee - textbook 200 CNY/book (2 books per level).
Individual Chinese - 16 lessons per week
Students looking for individualised instruction who can set their own time and pace will benefit most from a private, one-on-one Chinese language session.

This course is offered in its most basic form on our website (16 classes per 1 weeks). The number of lessons per day and per week can be changed as you request. You can speak with our manager to determine how many lessons you require.
Housing
Immerse yourself in local life by staying with a Chinese family. You can immerse yourself in the local culture, learn about their traditions, and watch their habits and ways of life firsthand. Chinese family are very welcoming and kind.
Facilities:
- You will have a private room at your disposal and a private bathroom. The kitchen is shared. Wifi, water and electricity bills are included.
Minimum - 4 weeks.
Homestay (within 1 hour from school)
You have the option of staying with a local family if you plan to study Chinese for a month or longer. It's a unique approach to learn about the Chinese way of life and an immersive cultural experience.
Facilities:
- You will have a private room at your disposal and a private bathroom. The kitchen is shared. Wifi, water and electricity bills are included.
